The theme of each floor is a place or a subject dear to Marcel Aymé’s heart: Montmartre, Paris, Franche-Comté, Les Contes du chat perché, magical realism and the writer’s friends.
The rooms of the Hôtel Littéraire Marcel Aymé don’t just have a number but also bear the name of a novel, a short story or a close friend of Marcel Aymé, such as La Jument verte, Le Passe-muraille and Jean Anouilh.
They are personalised with a watercolour by Jean Aubertin, each of which has been specially created, alongside a text and quotations by Marcel Aymé, to make you want to read more.
A few photos by the best photographers of the era such as Izis will immerse you in the atmosphere of Montmartre at that time.
At the last floor, rooms offer a stunning view of Paris’ rooftops!
